The ERGO Group is one of the largest insurance groups in Germany and Europe. The company needed a software solution to automate online insurance contract completions — enabling customers to complete insurance contracts entirely digitally, from quote to signature.
The solution had to integrate with ERGO's existing systems while providing a modern, user-friendly frontend that guides customers through complex insurance products.

Solution
The solution is based on a modern microservices architecture with Java Spring Boot in the backend and Vue.js in the frontend. Drupal CMS was integrated to enable specialist departments to independently manage content — product descriptions, terms, and informational pages.
The modular architecture allows for rapid extension with new insurance products and contract types. Each microservice handles a specific domain (quotes, contracts, payments, notifications), ensuring maintainability and independent scaling.
