The Wärmeplanungsgesetz requires large cities to submit municipal heat plans by 2026 and all other municipalities by 2028. The smart meter rollout demands new digital infrastructure from grid and metering operators. And municipal CO₂ accounting to BISKO standard is increasingly a prerequisite for funding and statutory reporting.
We build the digital platforms that implement these requirements in practice — for over ten years. Including the campaign platform STADTRADELN (1M+ active participants, in cooperation with team red Consulting GmbH) for Klima-Bündnis Services GmbH and the European solar marketplace Milk the Sun.
STADTRADELN: over one million active participants.
STADTRADELN is one of Germany's most successful climate protection campaigns: for 21 days, municipalities and their citizens cycle for climate action. Together with team red Consulting GmbH we have built the complete digital infrastructure for Klima-Bündnis Services GmbH since 2015 — web portal plus native iOS and Android apps.
The platform serves individuals, teams, municipal administrations and campaign organisers at the same time: kilometre logging, live rankings, CO₂ savings and the RADar! feature for reporting cycling infrastructure. Built to scale to tens of thousands of concurrent users during peak campaign phases.
Open source. German servers. GDPR-compliant.
We build on open-source technology: Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Drupal, Nuxt/Vue.js, Flutter. No proprietary code, no licence fees. Hosting on German servers (Hetzner, AWS Frankfurt) — full GDPR compliance, no data transfer to third countries.
For municipalities and public sector clients this means: no hidden follow-up costs, free choice of maintenance and development partners, full data sovereignty.
